30 Day {Juicing}

‘Tis the Seasons to look back on the last year and finish and renew New Year Resolutions. I began 2014 with the hope of becoming a better person from the inside out – yoga, juicing, etc.

View post of my 3-day local juicing cleanse in November. As a result, I purchased a Breville juicer and here is my self-challenge to try a new juice recipe every day for 30 days.

Day #1 (11/24) = 1 apple, 1 pear, 3 beets, 1/2 lime, ginger-root
Day #2 (11/25) = 3 apples, 2 handfuls of grapes, 1/2 lime, ginger-root
Day #3 (11/26) = 2 apples, 2 pears, 1/2 cup butternut squash, ginger-root
Skipped Thanksgiving! Gobble. Gobble.
Day #4 (11/28) = 2 pears, 2 peaches, 1 apple, 1/2 lime
Day #5 (11/29) = 1 pear, 1 apple, 1/2 cup butternut squash
Day #6 (11/30) = 3 oranges, 1 carrot, 1/2 cup cranberries (Don’t taste the cranberries though.)
Day #7 (12/1) = 2 carrots, 2 apples, 3/4 cup cranberries
Day #8 (12/2) = 2 oranges, 1 carrot, 1/2 lemon, 1/4 fennel bulb (fennel tastes much like celery)
Day #9 (12/3) = 2 oranges, 1 apple, 1 carrot, 1/4 cup POM juice
Day #10 (12/4) = 2 broccoli stems, 2 carrots, 1 apple**
Day #11 (12/5) = 2 oranges, 2 apples, 1/4 fennel bulb
Day #12 (12/6) = 2 carrots, 1 beet, 1 apple
Day #13 (12/7) = 2 peppers (red & green), 1 carrot, 1/2 cucumber
Day #14 (12/8) = 1 beets, 1 apple, 1 celery stick, ginger
Day #15 (12/9) = 1 carrot, 1 apple, 1/2 cucumber, 1 celery stick
Day #16 (12/10) = 3 carrots, 1 orange, 1 apple, ginger
Day #17 (12/11) = 2 oranges, 1 apple, 1/4 cup POM juice
Day #18 (12/12) = 2 celery stalks, 2 carrots, 1 orange, 1/2 sweet potato
Day #19 (12/13) = 1 beet, 1 celery stalk, 1 apple, rest with water
Day #20 (12/14) = 1 carrot, 1 celery stalk, 1 apple, 1 cucumber, 1/2 green pepper
Day #21 (12/15) = 1 cucumber, 1 orange, 2 handfuls of spinach, 1 stalk of mint, 1/2 lemon, 1/4 cup coconut water
Day #22 (12/16) = 2 carrots, 1 apple, 1/2 cucumber, pinch of cayenne pepper, 1/4 cup coconut water
Day #23 (12/17) = 3 carrots, 2 handfuls of spinach, 1/2 lemon, cayenne pepper, 1/4 cup plain water
Day #24 (12/18) = 2 oranges, 2 carrots, 3 handfuls of spinach
Day #25 (12/19) = 2 pears, 1 red pepper, 1 cucumber
Day #26 (12/20) = 1/2 butternut squash, 2 carrots, 1 apple
Day #27 (12/21) = 2 pears, 1 orange
Day #28 (12/22) = 1 sweet potato, 2 apples, ginger
Day #29 (12/23) = 4 carrots, 1 apple, 1/4 cup POM juice
Day #30 (12/24) = 2 oranges, 1 apple, 1/4 butternut squash

This January has been exciting and travel-filled with many wonderful experiences in NYC, Boston, Raleigh and Nice, France – a month challenge was not quite feasible with everything going on. Now that my feet are back on the ground and running, I am looking forward to a fabulous 2015!
